And They Say Stars Are Dots Too........
Shales of sun-strip flames
Set light to satellites,
Astronaut seamstress stitch
Two skins to one chaotically folded shirt,
Golden splinters which shred your duvet
Are same shards which lay on my pillowed dreams,
On other side of aquarium polaroids
Synchronised strangers swim against the moon-tides.
That which is settled dust on bookshelves
Are the seeking words of sidereal lovers.
That which is left in headphones after song
Are the static caresses from empty beds.
The rain fell gently at first
Like a child stroking piano keys,
Becoming a flooded nation of possibilities.
All my vision sees in the dark clouds are you.
