Mr. Nice Guy.
Every morning I see the same view,
From the inside of the same elevator,
It is shudder-inducing, the way I live.
But hey, atleast it’s stable.
I tie my shoes the same way,
Always the right one first.
However, today I mixed it up,
So there’s a possibility I’m cursed.
I tripped down the hallway,
Headfirst into that girl I like....
The one who lives so close next-door,
I can hear her snore at night.
She didn’t scream, her eyes watered.
No apology would do,
So I carried on my morning route,
As though I’d never been subdued.
I got fired from work,
Doused myself in coffee on the train.
Still, I’d say today was wonderful,
Because it wasn’t so FUCKING mundane.
