Corporeal

What's happening to me?  
Everything's quiet, empty
It's just my thoughts, me  
Bathed in a pool of black  
 
I hear my heart beat
My lungs expanding  
Am I dead?
Unconscious perhaps?
 
I've done it  
I am one with myself  
In body  
And in soul
 
So this is what peace feels like  
To be enlightened
