Strange Thoughts While Making Love - Nizana's Daughter
I express appropriate social surprise
mixed with gratitude as he enters me.
These moments are, in truth, merely
the basic stuff of evolution. This innate
urge to have sex and reproduce, passed
through generations, is strong and
cannot be denied. At what other time do I feel
more human and alive? At what other time
am I so completely myself? How beautiful
when pretense and questions drop to the floor
leaving only bare skin as a gift given without shame.

I live near the home town of Charles Darwin (Shrewsbury, England), the great evolutionary thinker, whose birth home is about to be converted to a museum dedicated to him.
