The Road
I’m in a car
On a road towards death
But I’ve still got a zillion miles to go
I’m having hard times now
But happiness is the next town ahead
There are two roads to get there
And I was forced to take the road less taken
The road of sadness
With more obstacles
More life
I look in my rear-view mirror
And most of what I see is depression
I decide to stop looking back
And I see a sign for happiness
Only a few miles away
I drive faster, past the speed limit
They stop me and I get a ticket
One more hard time and I start to look back again
I relapse into the sadness
Of my past
On a road towards death
But I’ve still got a zillion miles to go
I’m having hard times now
But happiness is the next town ahead
There are two roads to get there
And I was forced to take the road less taken
The road of sadness
With more obstacles
More life
I look in my rear-view mirror
And most of what I see is depression
I decide to stop looking back
And I see a sign for happiness
Only a few miles away
I drive faster, past the speed limit
They stop me and I get a ticket
One more hard time and I start to look back again
I relapse into the sadness
Of my past
