Yip. You win a can of polish to shine a new Volkswagen. Lol.
You're kind of half-right. It's one of those philosophy & perception questions, where men with square heads and goatee bears spend hours pointlessly debating.

Dear R,
I see the pupil of an eye peering through a hole trying to determine what it’s looking at. A conundrum to be sure 🤭
Fun write. H🌷

Thanks H. The mind is wired to see a black spot, particularly as there is the mental suggestion written above. Really interesting that you see an eye. It's all a bit like those ink-blot Rorschach psychology test things.

Lol. The mind is a most curious computer. I was once asked, in a formal setting, what is stopping me biting the head off a poodle? There was a context, but I just looked blank for what seemed hours (it probably only about a minute).

If someone asked me that I would immediately feel some kind of trap to make me look fool and probably just say nothing, say nothing is my go to for just about anything and everything that I don't have an immediate feeling about and I learned it from people continually doing it to me when I was ranting and raving in some kind of twenties bipolar apoplectic way that I did before I started honing my fireworks into a laser beam. Ahaha

I always think of the darkness as all encompassing like in space, where as the light is fleeting. It comes and goes. So I would be inclined to say white on black. In pitch darkness it's all black anyway. So behind all that white ultimately is just more darkness peeking through.

Interesting observations K. Don't understand the science behind it all, but always hope there is some truth (at least metaphorically) in 'out of darkness, comes light.'

I think I won. Just saying. I do know what road I wandered down that led me here.
