The Hustler

Avail the darkness
Curtail the right
Delight the conniver
Restrict his fight

Stagnate the collar
Mandate his fate
Release the scholar
And empty his plate

Secure his weakness
Ascribe his plight
Deflate his honour
Pervert his sight

Be tasked with denial
Be masked at will
Earmarked and green-eyed
Swallow the pill

Manage the deniers
Banish their views
Refuse introspection
And slaughter their muse

Inundate their good nature
A mate for disdain
Uncover the hustler
And the lies he has lain

Withered and boughten
Feeding the snake
Slithered and rotten
Exposing the fake

But a wisp of keen envy
We’re no longer controlled
His words lapse in exodus
A profit widely extolled
