loneliness

 
i am alone never lonely
seldom missed, often sought after, an enigma
a misfit born of solitude

in silent reprisal I was born into being
a soul searching for like beings
natural law understands me

beautiful disaster,
taste me if I'm not pure spit me out
I will take no pity
give it to me cold

I ascend and take a look around
it's gone silent...the heavens
I wonder after the nature of this mischief

delicate notes at last greet me
as I enter into a state of rest
