Time is passing
And many of us are still sad
We look for answers in the words you left behind
Only to understand that they are just as poignant today
As the day you wrote them
 
I listen over and over again
To the poetry you created and shared with the world
How it spoke to us
How it made us wonder
How it pulled many out dark places
Giving some hope and inspiration
 
You were a voracious reader
And it showed
Then when tragedy struck twice
You took to the open road to gather your thoughts
