JANUS
I’ve been thinking a lot
It’s a new year
I wish I was Janus
He could look to the past and the future
Maybe he had a Time Machine
A Time Machine;
With one captain seat,
One dial for years,
One dial for days,
levers, tools, black metals
Iron and brass
The epitomized time traveler
The typical example of transitions
Lost dreamy ivory sepals
Paid for by the deep downs
of my pocket, dreamily drifting,
Hold up coffer’s flowers
Dancing in my hand
Stuck to my mind and
My heart
I once wished for a Time Machine
Earthly extremity of heaven
Hope howling
Empowering me in the
Least, littlest, lowest way
To be able to express
My happiness
I’ve a sudden urge to pray
Insatiable Tribulations
Have come and gone
Existing only in a small wistful
“Winna’s” womanly amount
That whisks me away
I’ve been thinking a lot.
It’s a new year
I wish I was Janus
He could look to the past and the future
Maybe he had a Time Machine
