A Path less walked

Each step is a choice,
A moment comprised, a composition.
A beginning, a middle and somehow, always waiting,
The transition of change.
An end but not an end.
A layered continence to being,
Never entirely knowing,
Never entirely certain,
Always ready to be humbled by the course of one's direction.
Yet, each step is still a choice.
Always better for the making.
Wherever a well discerning foot is placed.

Author's Note
More thought perhaps than poetry, either way, from yesterday's journey and journaling.

Just seen a typo in the line 'a layered continence to being'... Continence should have been continuance... I've let it be, letting the words have their own say in how they remain in existence through their own will of movement. (I'm watching you auto correct 🧐)
