Something you didn't know
I like to take long walks
to walk through the fields
I like to hike in the Kentucky backwoods
and climb our hills
I do it for the beauty
and the spectacular views
I also love the time to think
and it also is something to do
Of course there is a danger
of snakes, falls, and coyotes
But I still go, I even take a walking stick
and sometimes I wear orange, so hunters won’t shoot me
I love to go
the sense of being free
and it lets me sometimes see
one last untouched place of out Country
to walk through the fields
I like to hike in the Kentucky backwoods
and climb our hills
I do it for the beauty
and the spectacular views
I also love the time to think
and it also is something to do
Of course there is a danger
of snakes, falls, and coyotes
But I still go, I even take a walking stick
and sometimes I wear orange, so hunters won’t shoot me
I love to go
the sense of being free
and it lets me sometimes see
one last untouched place of out Country
