for the whisper swish
of a sliding door
rush of cold
upon entering
their eyes bright
their coats glistening
tiny diamonds
gathering
at my feet
beautifully wild
and tame

Beautifully wild and tame! This poem I can relate too! And, I adore the picture media you added as well! I am the mom to a 2 year old German shepherd and he is my protector, best friend, goofy boy. Beautifully written, fun and clever, flows wonderfully!

. They truly are the best! I have worked with many breeds throughout my life and it is really amazing how different they are from each other (the breeds) .. Shepherds are loyal, fun, protective, willful, playful, loving .. the characteristics of many breeds but they take it to a whole other level .. and so damn smart ... I could go on ! Enjoy every minute with your love nugget! They bring so much joy!! 💗🥰

Dear JeJe,
The older I get the more it’s become apparent those I considered civilized were feral and vise verse. There is nothing more comforting than the loyalty of a four legged friend. I really miss my horse. Love the homage to your loyal babies. H🌷

I apologize for my late response. I'm so sorry for your loss. Horses are such amazing creatures. I have a big love for them as well. We are so blessed when animals befriend us. Even more so when they choose us. Thank you for your lovely comments ... humbled and honored by the taking for your RL
