Aspiring

I've come to understand,
That Not everyone is like me,
Not everyone sees the puzzle piece they’ve become
The distance my mind can unravel the smallest of thoughts
To the oblivious nature of your gentle "Hello, How are you?"
I’d say I don't know,
I try to preset answers to our basic interactions
That I freeze upon
The hues are too much sometimes
The air too thick with inquiries and I...
Just want to be alone
to see life from the window seat
A plane of existence
 I will eventually move seats
but for now I'm happy in my cushion.
I can solve and rearrange life,
I Have a more perfect version of you in my head
Just because you fit the frame
doesn't mean the part was meant for you.
I became alive but I don't fit the narrative
In this book I'm reading.
