Today is a different day
What do you say when the world turns upside down
And feelings get turned inside out
When the heart of you
Is no longer there
To beat
And meanings remain
But they’re no longer the same
How do you explain the things you can’t say
To the silence
How do you live with silence
In the disquiet that seems to scream

Poetically speaking this is so appealing because I think so many of us have experienced painful similarities in this write.
Personally speaking, trying to put one foot in front of the other while trying to regain balance and a heartbeat is about the best one can do. This is a difficult subject on which to comment but a brilliantly heartfelt poem. Xo
