If you add some meat to your delicious Minestrone
Does it thus become Goulash?
Of course some places offer ''Goulash'' which, oddly,
Do not include meat....just vegetables.
Is that a poor man's Goulash?
True, to your Minestrone you can naturally add pasta or rice
But then, would adding beef, lamb, or chicken, make it

I had supposedly authentic goulash once. It was near to about the best thing I've ever tasted

I'm guessing it's the composition and origins, you make a slight change and it becomes something different than the original. Interesting enough to make me think about my own recipes and how I've changed it from the original recipes I received.

Like, say, some sort of soup to which you decide to add rice, or chunks of lamb o rwhatever to your taste. Regards, Robert.
