Fearfully Unknown
I've never known you before, but I know your soul like my own.
The lonely fragments of fixated grins and ties tormenting the open minds.
I know the lines,
The grips and wires that adorn the beaten heart feeding the thought that happiness isn't meant to breathe from our lungs.
I've held you in my arms, but I have never been close to your lips.
The softness of the words rambling through my veins conjoining the verses, reciting a name in my dreams.
The blindness while falling, the fear of emptying oneself into something unknown, not caring to play with the thought that a flame that burns can die in the rain just as surely as the lips can begin to curse the mention of a name.
