(In)completely Yours (collaboration with Uma)

i stack the aging golden sepias

as summer butterflies
as haunting moonmoths
and lanterning fireflies
as elusive silverfishes
in emergence
nibbling erected
brainy cellulostic nipples
until rib hip lip seductions

the appetite is forever

never will stop
never will finish

our coming of the age
eternal origami in mindbending
murmurations

Driftwood dreams of birth souvenirs
An umbilical c(h)ord of sing(ular) songs,
Pillars of two breaths writhe
Wreath the cold white air

Vermillion verse on p(s)alms
Of our little creations,
Beyond broken racist chant
Sembavalam spades ignorance in light

Not so much dark
As moonlight waiting,
Not so much death
As survival raging

We sleep water in dusk cradles
Under a lofty coronal sun,
Until everything falls.
One way or another
