Who are you?
You say “I need you.”
Is this fake or is this true?
Now you say “I don’t want to be with you.”
Who are you?
Are you going to be cruel or kind?
Feels like im talking to jackal and Hyde,
Never knowing who is really on the inside.
I never know if I should stay or hide.

Extremely clever use of the “Jekyll and Hyde” story as a metaphor of jackal and Hyde. Brilliant! The play between our different persona’s is confounding and painful at times and I like how you’ve formatted this into dialogue form. Also for me, is the relatable frustration and hurt of those who treat affection so cruelly. Great write. H🌷
