violent rainbows
that's how my mind goes
in beauty
there's fear
the great destroyer coming near
inside
safe and warm
longing
for the next storm
blue skies
are full of lies
there's nothing like
a good rainbow strike

You said it. The lull of calm is especially cruel because when disaster hits the upheaval seems like forever, to me. I think this analogy is outstanding as a life lesson, and i also see this as hope because even after a calamity there can be lessons and events to bring something better. Oh, the irony. Terrific piece. Love the photo. H🌷

I REALLY like the "rainbow strike" idea. What a clever change-up in how to perceive it.
Dammit, I want to steal the premise. Lol. It's an awesome point of view.
Your write as a total is of course high quality. Yet, that "impact" of the title is so so awesome. If I smile when I read something, it's good. And I'm smiling!
