the nothingness

 
I sometimes worry about lack of feeling
a sense of indifference
neither hate nor love
just a nothingness that threatens
it is with great sorrow I contemplate this

I never want to know such an emptiness
I wonder does it happen
come over a person like a cloud
a day at a time becoming less than the day before,
and erase those beautiful emotions that connect us together

I hold my feelings tight
in sorrow's keep and let them know they are cherished
don't let this happen to us my lover

I vow to always be honest with you
soul to soul show you my vulnerability
within my sacredness reveal my truths
so you may continue to feel with me

from nothingness I came into being
to fulfill a dream
