Harlots & Demigods
twisted loose lips
talking with no substance
blinded by their greed
they will take while you never receive
the more and more given
the less respect they’ll have
once drained
that’s the last time you’ll see them
yeah, once it’s over
they’ll steal from another
cowards will hide in plain site
never feeling the need to explain why
harlots and demigods fall
while seeing themselves above everyone
watch out for their rage
a person without a face
they won’t stop till they’re inspired
no one when they look in the mirror
smiling while feeling nothing
treating you with amity
behind backs telling a different story
trust your instincts
only emotions will blind your judgment
don’t dare cross the line that doesn’t exist
beware is tattooed on their back
insecurities will be exploited
a victim if you let them
turned on when your feelings are hurt
show them vulnerability they’ll make it worse
laugh about it to their friends
then pretend like it never even happened

You're a bastion of wisdom with either some unfortunate experience or a really killer imagination which really lends itself quite amazingly well to this killer poetic revelation. There's a lot of freedom to be harnessed in exposure of those who so easily obfuscate with designs complete betrayal in the end.
