Living by the ocean
Below zero is what I’m use to,
Winter storms and sharp cold breeze
hitting my cheeks.
Cutting my skin,
making my eyes water,
tears falling as the weather gets colder.
So we packed the car because we are tired of this state. (Upstate, New York)
I’m ready to live next to the water.
Now we are living by the ocean,
The waves are so hypnotizing,
My eyes are gazing at the thickness of the suds, white and bubbles running up the sand, soft to my feet so beautiful like poetry. I can’t believe I’m living by the ocean.
So hypnotizing, the incredible Virginia Beach.
Winter storms and sharp cold breeze
hitting my cheeks.
Cutting my skin,
making my eyes water,
tears falling as the weather gets colder.
So we packed the car because we are tired of this state. (Upstate, New York)
I’m ready to live next to the water.
Now we are living by the ocean,
The waves are so hypnotizing,
My eyes are gazing at the thickness of the suds, white and bubbles running up the sand, soft to my feet so beautiful like poetry. I can’t believe I’m living by the ocean.
So hypnotizing, the incredible Virginia Beach.
