Thoughts

I’m a thundercloud on the hillside,
And she’s a calm and gentle lily;

I’m a dog-eared Reader’s Digest,
She’s a volume of timeless poetry;

I’m a fast food burger with a side of fries,
She’s a four-course meal with a glass of wine;

 I think the world of her,
And that is fine.

But somehow…
She thinks the world of me;

And that must be divine.
