Wild Coastal Woman
Wild Coastal Woman
Her fragile peace made by the
Wonder of the Celtic harp in her hands
Song of Irish shamrocks in her eyes
Whose blue loch gaze gathers rosebuds
While the month of May sings her praises
When blossoms form flowers
To celebrate her eternal maidenhood
On the windswept shores where sea stacks rise
To greet her beauty with the crash of waves
But her tresses are wilder than the coastal madness
Where Kelpies haunt her scarlet strands
Bearing her with equine magic
Where sailors haunt the cool shadows
Her fragile peace made by the
Wonder of the Celtic harp in her hands
Song of Irish shamrocks in her eyes
Whose blue loch gaze gathers rosebuds
While the month of May sings her praises
When blossoms form flowers
To celebrate her eternal maidenhood
On the windswept shores where sea stacks rise
To greet her beauty with the crash of waves
But her tresses are wilder than the coastal madness
Where Kelpies haunt her scarlet strands
Bearing her with equine magic
Where sailors haunt the cool shadows
