who then could teach me
how to love?
so i can practice on myself
and untie the knots i pulled too tight
hey there! you look like you know
how to love
show me, let me feel this
thing i so desperately miss
and i don’t mean a kiss
there’s more they hide
and that’s the kind we forget to share
who will show me
..how to love?
is anyone left to exhibit
such a treasure??
or are we all just hurt and lonely
under one skin?

There's such a dynamic poignancy within the heartbreaking questioning. I love the approach you've taken, which presses upon the reader such a familiar and resonant aching quandary .... We've all felt this way at some point but you brilliantly and poetically articulate it a way that leaves such a resounding and long lasting impression... It definitely stuck with me.
