Wisdom's Journey

Walking down the rocky path
where all must bend and turn,
Reflecting on epiphanies of  
life's questions in you burn.
 
Stumbling, falling, searching,  
on some knowledge quest.
Wishing on certain days  
there was time for rest.  
 
Laughing at simplistic answers,  
found within your heart,
Knowing the journey to wisdom  
is always at its start.
 
Yearning for the level of  
enlightenment through grace,
Hoping to attain a fragment  
and your life will have a trace.
 
Revealing answers will come,  
like peeling the petals of a rose.
Looking beyond the layers to  
the treasured center exposed.  
 
Discovering answers lead to questions,
and you find you have ran out of time.
But, just in the seeking of life's mysteries  
you will find form galaxies in your mind.
