Daddy love me, Daddy go.
Your child's standing here,
Stretching out her arms.
Here's your child standing here,
Faced away from you- fists clenched tight.
Daddy leave me,
Standing there, in a distant land,
in sands pure as white.
So that I may dye it,
pink as love,
Or black as angry eyes,
That watch you as you fly-
Far, far away.
Daddy love me.
Daddy go-
So I can't see that face.
One I love a deal to much,
Yet one I wish to hate.
Daddy love me-
hug me hold me.
Daddy go away-
Disappear from my heart,
And fade away someday.
Stretching out her arms.
Here's your child standing here,
Faced away from you- fists clenched tight.
Daddy leave me,
Standing there, in a distant land,
in sands pure as white.
So that I may dye it,
pink as love,
Or black as angry eyes,
That watch you as you fly-
Far, far away.
Daddy love me.
Daddy go-
So I can't see that face.
One I love a deal to much,
Yet one I wish to hate.
Daddy love me-
hug me hold me.
Daddy go away-
Disappear from my heart,
And fade away someday.
