Give her a shaft,

with her on bed,
you both naked,

The name definitely caught my attention SS. Love being stuck indoors. Getting the shaft can definitely be a great thing. lol You can always make it rain indoors too. ;) But I love going out in the rain also, especially when the rain is really cold and you need other ways to warm up. Or find somewhere to duck under where you can be very naughty. I love the wetness of the UK. ;) Here there is a lot more sun and often the rains come down fast and furious and then stops. Love the picture, matches perfectly and so sexy...

When I wrote about weather I was thinking not just of rain but also blizzard snow. A few baby booms have followed blizzards that cut off travel and caused blackouts in homes!

I spent much of my time growing up in the UK SS. So I was there for quite some time. Lived not to far from London. I really miss it. It was a very turbulent time for me but I came to love it there despite that.
They kept saying Covid might cause a baby boom. Not sure if it did or not. I am still not ready for that or marriage.

In the south east of England I understand temperatures are warmer on average than in the more westerly and northerly regions. So rain would probably be less harsh to be out in - although I have showered in a rain storm at night at my home near the Welsh border (the environment is built up where I live so less privacy for going bare outdoors by day).
I have not heard of a covid baby boom happening in England. Many couples who were already parents got less domestic privacy for You-know-what when they were occupied home schooling children they already had when schools closed their classrooms during the lockdowns. Also hotels which were forced to close were unable to get trade from couples using them as sex bolt holes.

True, temps were definitely warmer than many other places... All the buildings and people probably contribute to that as well. I don't really remember the kind of downpours we get here all that often. But the rain would definitely last longer. And often there was that kind of fine mist in the air that made everything feel wet. I lived off the Thames a lot of the time and there was this little island park by one of the locks you could walk across. That was a great place to go hang out in the rain or otherwise and get into trouble. lol I had the best sticky toffee pudding ever in Wales... The kind that had like quadruple fresh cream and would stop your heart. lol
