ANNE HATH A WAY

Anne hath a way,
when in the hay,
to get her Bard
loving her hard,
shaking his spear
as they draw near
to seal, with kiss,
love's business.

Author's Note
Inspired by a TV comedy sketch I saw decades ago which showed Shakespeare being pestered/visited by an underwear salesman who made a joke on Will's wife "Anne hath a way!" All that we know of their love life is that their marriage was a shotgun wedding, he was a toyboy husband, and they had a few more children in their marriage but that when Will was in London making his dramatic name she did not apparently accompany him.
