Creation

The Almighty God made it all,
Every creature great and small,
It took God seven entire days,
To complete the work that He had made,
On the first day, the Lord God spoke,
"Let there be light!" - and it was so,
On the second day, God made a dome,
To divide the top waters from those below,
On the third day, God separated land from sea,
And made the plants, shrubs, and fruitful trees,
On the fourth day, the Almighty One,
Made the seasons, stars, moon, and sun,
On the fifth day, the God of light,
Made fish of the sea and birds of flight,
On the sixth day, God gave a command,
And made every creature that walks on land,
And after all was complete,
The Lord began His masterpiece,
He formed a sculpture out of the sand,
Gave him life and called him Man,
Then God rested on the seventh day,
And blessed everything that He had made.
