it's fitting
that i should want to die right now
feeling entombed
within the concrete of this place
sublevel byway
a living grave
machine roar resounding
off the dull grey everything
cigarettes in the work truck
a couple drags would be nice
the keys nestled in the cup holder
right there with them
locked in
irritatingly,
annoyingly,
dumb-as-fuckingly

Discovering your profile has been a breath of cool, fresh air this morning. It’s rare I find a profile that I haven’t come across before which provides properly imaginative and psychological poetry like this. I like how you render the narrator’s stream-of-consciousness.
