The Lava Tree?
I'm stood
On the periphery
Of a once
Active volcano
There is suddenly
A loud banging
And urgent cries
Of a desperate humanity
I open up
A portal
And exit
This strange world
As my partner
Grabs me sharply, and yanks me out
As they brush past me
In great haste
Then disappears
As the doorway of this portal
Slams shut
And all i can hear
Is the sound of running water
And quiet moans
In consternation
I call out
"Are you okay?"
"Yes!"
"I just needed to pee!"
I leave her there
By the lava tree
Perched upon her throne
Hap'pee!
