Unknowing Savior

One hundred thirty six point zero seven
Weight of the log I carry
Difference in pain and pleasure hell and heaven
Colombian hills may vary.
Thinking of my family visiting in Medelin.
Pray they are safe the world makes me wary.

Thirty five minutes I run drop the log
Hurl to the gods
The sickness clears the fog
Trying to put away thoughts that are at odds.
Sweat dripping muscles aching old dog
Looking at my scars my daughter calls mods

Burn mark from fire my leg and partial hip.
Stab wound from a fight as a child.
Gaps in meat where bullets rip
Tarnished my back to make my time worth while
My mind even worse why I struggle to grip
Only thing not destroyed in my ugly smile

Hands touch my back it all goes away
Lips gently kiss my shoulder "Liam"
She be gone still knows what to say
Pets on me saying mine ahem.
Melanin Latina utterly perfect please stay.
Your mind heart and soul I need them.
