But a dream

But a dream

Within a single moment my aching heart is full of bliss, it happened in the moment we shared our sweet first kiss

The nighttime sky turned so bright, there were fireworks way up high, to feel your body close to me, I let loose a little sigh

I never knew I'd feel this way, I've always been lonesome and in pain, I thought that was all life held for me, in the time that did remain

But now I live in constant sunshine, I now never feel alone, I have found my soul mate, someone to call my own

You are the other half of me, you make me feel complete, each moment spent with you, simply can't be beat

To hold you close within my arms, to share a soft embrace, to look into your mesmerising eyes, to see your gorgeous face

My life couldn't get no better, I feel like the cat whose got the cream, then I awake alone again and you were but a dream
