A Little Piece of Heaven
there is a place
passed the fields of corn
the factories and run down mall
where people say "hello"
"nice weather we're having"
not a soul in a bad mood
it's a place that is not Florida or California
but in the distance you can see boats
and a island that holds an amusement park
the wind blows perfectly
with a slight sound of water splashing
closing my eyes
while my wife lays her head on me

in my own back yard

It's my favorite place to go. I won't be able to once it gets colder but it is truly like no other place around here. Seriously, everyone is in a good mood there haha. Can't really say that about many places where I live.

That and poetry is like free therapy hehe. You might know where that's close to if you ever been to cedar point.

Omg.. That's crazy!! Of course I've been to Cedar Point!! I have really wonderful family memories there from when I was little... You probably don't remember or might have never heard of it having not lived in Ohio then but there was also another amusement park which has since closed down that was HUGE, called Geauga Lake that was another awesome awesome park, too... Sooo much fun. I guess being so near Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Universal and all the Disney parks, I'm jaded here... Because I remember those Ohio amusement parks much fonder..

I hear about Geauga Lake a lot. But yeah, wasn't here at the time. I get a pass every year to cedar point. Sometimes just walking around is nice. Also this time of year the kettle corn is to die for 😁
I like to go to kings island once and awhile too. Not much to do around here so thank God we have something lol.
