Having Hope In Us

Killing me softly with her beauty, passion, drive and positivity  
Am I absurd for thinking a woman of her level would want simple man like me
Nevertheless I attempted to see if her heart was obtainable
I truthfully envisioned a life where our union was eternally sustainable  
Quirky as it may be, I allowed my mind to conjure such insanity
Under the influence of infatuation I pictured us starting a family
As it became more likely a relationship would be obscene
