To me  
Poetry is a vessel  

A channel  
 
Through which I create and release
No more pressure and overthinking  
Here, I'll express myself with ease  
 
A chance  
 
To free the repressed thoughts from my mind  
No longer holding back  
Here, I'll leave the past behind  
 
A therapy session  
 
Spiritual cleansing, inner-child healing, manifestation  
Here, my sanity will never come into question  
 
A maze  
 
Where you're lost  
For all of the right reasons  
No easy escape  
Here, I'll face every last one of my demons  
 
A sense of self  
 
Strengthened by courage and perseverance  
Internal wealth and better mental health
Here, I'll love myself without conditions
