Lover, I Must Whisper This

Lover, I Must Whisper This

We just are

Delicious seclusion of skin cave
Sonnet’ise purity of couplet tongues
: as mizzle seducing lonely walker :
Private mantra directs our breath
On voyage to that other country,
Where bed is the only sanctity.

Taught my tongue to say I do not know
Embracing language in the spaces between (f)light,
Climbing hinges of doors with no mouths
In the convent of least resistance.

Let’s go and kill a poem
For the flowers in the vase are black now
All the corpses have risen and left.

Darling, I must whisper this

The night breaks in my voice
Ghosts bite their initials into my neck.

The stars we are

Watching the world spinning
&
Silhouettes of paths across
Water to the dark hills.
