A Little Detour

tired eyes with smokey eyeshadows
lips painted red, pouting
Angelina mini Jolie
wannabe
little brown girl
passing alabaster

weep
girl
covid done me wrong
lost my job
my baby daddy gone
my pantry's empty
my child got nothing to eat

pushed up bra
pushed mamny out
crushed cleavages
drawing drools
from both end
eyes staring, greedy
nodding birds like feeders on sand
fists on dollars
Say, hey let's play

Weep
girl
your bed will be warm tonight
you'll have dollars on the side table
you'll bring home the bread
your worth tattered and torn
but baby will eat
O yes

she's made for loving
arched back
full breasts
and tonight
she'll lie down for love
...for her child
