To Much To Soon
Shadows moving across the sky, begin to cry
Soldiers marching up from Tartarus refusing to be denied
Atlas following order, told to drop the fucking sky
If it was not for Hercules everyone would surely had died
Man as you remember fucking won the last battle
With Hope on their side the Titans and Gods were shattered
But the immortals were down, they were never truly defeated
They sat back and watched as man realized the strength that was need
The strength needed to make decisions for yourself
To have a frame of mind where you truly love everyone else
To be the guardian of the planet and ensure that no hurt came to her
To look at the most beautiful of creature without think of their fur
They knew that man would fail, they took pleasure in each other's pain
The immortals started feeling their powers being regained
But it was to soon to attack now, man would only reunite
Hope would have their back, and the immortals would loose the fight
So they sat and watched the wars, year after year, for no reason
They gain strength from the destruction to the planet season after season
The constant bickering, even among those of the same tribe
It was dam near time the immortals could feel the vibe
They were gather on the battle fields, a missiles program to seek and destroy
Man was about to wipe himself out with his own little toy
As the bombs went off the immortals rejoiced
Hope would never render aide to such a destructive human force
But yet they wait, man will eventually run himself back to the caves
He will curse each and every invention ever made
He will creep in the shadows, foraging the foothills, weary from battle
Then the immortals will return giving back the baby his rattle
Soldiers marching up from Tartarus refusing to be denied
Atlas following order, told to drop the fucking sky
If it was not for Hercules everyone would surely had died
