Third Eye Blind

Can you imagine that we are already dead, long since rotted away
But with our minds trapped in this matrix, we continue to work everyday
We continue to eat, to love, to starve, to hate, to fight and play
The machine has conditioned us so that our chains never fell away

But see yourself through your minds eye
Time has looped and caught up with time
We are no more than residual energy on a barren planet
The third eye sees what we refuse and it really can't stand it

So it calcifies itself shielding itself from our ignorance
It knows that we are willing participants, because of our stance
most of us don't realize that we are only here to serve a purpose
Most of us travel through life in the footprints of another person

So most people don't ever know or realize what their purpose was
They die without knowing that they have served their cause
They think that we are solitary beings traveling a solitary course
Some think that these courses occasionally intersect and must be passed with force

What they don't know is that we are all actions and reactions to events
Events caused by others that we could not prevent
Our existence through this illusion is a chain reaction
An atom slamming into another with us continuing the action

But we are to busy listening to the machine, we stepped over thing no longer there
The machine says ignore the Pineal's spiritual realm, worry about color and texture of hair
But I live and dine within my minds eyes,
I have incrementally broken down time to no more than dots and lines

Behind my eyes I see existence so much clearer
Death, just like life, is nothing but hyped up fear
They both exist on the same fucking plain
Through the machine's illusion of Death's pain, I decalcified my third eye and broke my chains
