You Don't Want To Go There
Do you know what it's like to be no more than five and look a killer right in the eyes
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Do you know what it's like to be terrified to sleep at night
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Do you know what it is to jump everytime something move
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
There's nothing to comfort you, there's no one to soothe
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Have you ever stared up at the ceiling at night, praying that you die before morning light
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Have you ever hid under the covers listening knowing it's your turn when they finish their fight
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Have you ever felt the blows from a giants fist
Have you ever gotten choked out for looking like this
Fucking work boots to the throat, two ribs broke
Held in the air, feeling my spirit float
Can you remember that point when your mind first snapped
When I Is Me was created and started plotting his trap
An escape was made, winters spent with no place to live
What's the use putting out your hand, when everyone refuses to give
Shoes full of holes barely held together on my feet
There's a hell of a choice between shoes and something to eat
Do you go back to where you left and beg for some heat
Do you resubmit yourself to being abused and admit defeat
You stand there thinking, pulling out your hair
I'll tell you again you don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Some claim that they want to see what I became when my mental decided to tear
I'll tell you once more, you don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Do you know what it's like to be terrified to sleep at night
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
Do you know what it is to jump everytime something move
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
There's nothing to comfort you, there's no one to soothe
You don't wanna go there, you don't wanna go there
