The Dark Versus Light
"The Dark Versus Light"
Diana's Temple, is at St.Paul's Cathedral/
Whilst them who hate God, want to make it all evil
Just to mock like Nimrod, did with his Tower & people/
Believing they're God's, when they're foolish & feeble
How ghoulish are these people, as dark as their hearts/
Trying to outsmart the Creator, with Dark Arts is just daft
It's just Dark versus Light, from the beginning of time/
Yet try as they might, they can't defeat the Divine
Through my dreams & through signs, I'm reminded he's there/
And whether good or bad times, I must stand with no fear
I've shed tear & been scared, whilst being lost in the fog/
All the while by my side, was both my God & my dog
Whilst the sheep moved in flocks, I had Hip-hop & pen/
With a dream to write bars, more than Cocaine & bling
If I wrote all that I knew, I'd probably scare you to death/
So best pretend I've been duped, & it's all in my head.

This goes back to the ancient good v. evil question, light v. dark which will always play out both in the mind and in the world we live in.

God himself abides in great darkness...the dark was here first I feel...
