Shards of skull buried within the walls
The price we paid to escape it all
No more pain, no more set backs
No more tomorrows, no more take backs

I've been removed but I still remain
I was supposed to release but I still retain
The mysterious fears followed by blinding pain
That silent voice with the volume of a train

Who is it that suffers me to such an extent
There are demons afoot sniffing at my scent
Eyes burning, talons drawn to tear
Sniffing the walls to see if I'm there

Lips drawn tight, fangs on display
Lava drooling from the corners, they smell decay
Guts drawn taut, they haven't eaten today
The hunger's upon them making them stay

My pulse is gone and I've closed my eyes
I shrank into myself trying to hide
With no heart to stop I still give it a try
The shards of my skull becomes my alibi

The demons all stop and with heads bowed
Mentally imagining me they start to growl
The growls are enticing and oh so soothing
I open my eyes and I start moving

The demons are just messengers
They were sent to retrieve
"Bring him back to us
we'll grant him a reprieve"

From the walls the shards emerge on a throne
Dressed in blood with a crown of bones
The spirits announce that I have evolved
While standing on the edge watching the earth revolve

In all it's haste it's throwing off waste
The seven deadly sins makes my case
Although negative, all this energy feeds
I merged with earth and planted my seed

The universe learned of this destructive seed
A seed filled with hate, rage, and pure greed
The seed is the reincarnation of who we be
