Blame the media when it's wrong
Blame the media when it's right
Blame the media all night long
In conspiratorial fright...
Because you are addicted to hear
All sorts of things that trouble you
To boil anger with a fear
Whether or not those things are true.
So read that news and read it well
On some myriad internet page
About a percolating hell
Of urban and suburban rage,
Never thinking of all the harm
Built into havoc's ugly charm.
