Dark is nostalgia
and twilight's
cotton candy
over the edge
of my abyss
hanging a ten
in life's tsunami
but my libido rises
before the rooster barks
it's Yippie Ya Yo
wetting the sheets
of my little foibles
with my poetic ink burns
of dogearing crescendos

This has such wonderful imagery and depth of feeling for me. "and twilight's cotton candy over the edge of my abyss" That is so darkly beautiful, I love visualizing that. The fine sweet lines bleeding over the edge in alluring pink. Soft and fluffy poison for the soul. 'rooster barks' sounds like something I would say. lol So often poetic ink burns and must write that hellfire out or else it consumes you entirely.
