Under the Pale Moon Light

She dances naked under the pale moon light
Around the fire invoking energy from the night
And as the flames sway she prays with quite delight
The bright embers seem like dreams that take flight

And while the cinders fly off into the night air
Her body moves to the lively rhythm of the flame
Her fair skin glows along with her red flowing hair
Like fiery cascades - picture perfect in every frame

She raises her hands upward with a joyous grin
Then tilts her head upward looking up at the moon
The cool breeze caresses every inch of her skin
As her lips utter chants and ancient hallowed tunes

She listens with her heart, she listens with her soul
Every crackle is an expression of jovial and sacred rite
In the clearing amidst the forest trees there’s a threshold
Where she dances naked under the pale moon light
