Coded Care
She spoke of me, yes again just one more time
Within a coded message she let me know that I was on her mind
But Boo is no liar, she's not going out like that
She only rolls with one at a time and that's a fact
But we didn't separate on those types of terms
You know the kind where the mind is confused and the heart burns
We agreed that there was just to much friction exposed there
I'm getting all excited and erotic as the wind blows through your hair
She said in her poem that she was just checking up on me
She noticed that my posting has fallen off and wondered about the mystery
Are you okay, are you depressed, are you busy at work
Do you still miss me, have you found someone else, does it still hurt
Have you spent every moment alone since I've been gone
Do you still hear my voice echoing through the house everytime you return home
When was your last late night dinner staring into someone's eyes
When's the last time you shared a night at the beach to watch the sun rise
I could tell by the poem that she wanted to heal me and erase the pain
One by one she ripped the stitches from my chest and crushed my heart again
Line by line I could feel her building me up like she wanted to come back
Especially when she recommended killing myself if I couldn't get back on track
