A clandestine obsidian tar drips down the chasms
Glistening like the ebony backs of deadly scarabs
Filled with a sticky venom
Corroding my mind
Slowly burning a hole in my existence
But you leave me to drown
Watching the oil drag me under
That lithium coating my mind and body
Drowned in the toxic love you gave me
Only to turn me inside out
Breathe into me your ignited inferno
A breath laced with charred abrasions
Slicing up my insides
So cut me open to see the ashen interior
And let that inky sludge drip from my remains
Do you see what you did to me?
Tarnishing my soul
Damning my heart to be chained in Tartarus
Abused and possessed by the vile shadows that slither about
Coiling tighter and tighter till my lungs burst from suffocation
Bleeding out a burning acrimony
So why don’t you burn with me?
Let the flames fueled by your own malice lick your already blackened soul.
